I had to leave my comfort zone so many times, that I got tired. I just want to breathe, I want to slow down for awhile, take some time to free my mind, not worrying about exams, not worrying about anything.
I want I need to have the choice to say "NO" at least one time, this time. I want to make that mistake and I know I might regret it in the future, but I'm sick of people wanting me to prove things. "You gotta prove this, you gotta prove that", "You gotta prove you're better than them." NO, not this time.
Can I just for a second be forgiven? Could you just for a second forget what people think about me?
Trust me if you keep your mind focused on what they think, you'll forget about yourself, you'll end up being to busy trying to prove everything to everyone. And I don't need that, I don't need to prove that I'm good at something, just because someone doesn't think I am.
My life is not based on what I want to prove to others, I don't care what they think about my choices, I care what God thinks about me. Cause He loved me first and He was always there.
But, my point right now is, if someone doesn't like you, will you try to prove to them that you're a good person, and that you deserve to be liked? Nop, you probably won't be doing anything to prove that. And that's because you are not a facebook status, people don't have to like you.
Remember not everyone loved Jesus, and as long as you follow His path and believe in Him there will be a lots of people that might not love you as well. But just because they don't like you it doesn't mean that you should try to change their opinion about you. We're all different and unique and that's what makes us who we are. We can't love everyone, though we shall show Love to everyone.
He made you with His own hands, He knows the beat of your heart as a song, He knows every single thought and every single tear you held back. And trust me it's all worth it, you are worthy. We are worthy! We are worthy as the point that God so loved us that He, the Lord, gave His only Son so that we will not die but will have eternal life.
God didn't wanted us to prove that we deserve His mercy and love.
God didn't ever said "I'll give my only Son to save you if you prove to Me that you deserve this much love from Me". Do you know why He didn't say that? Cause we would never, EVER be able to prove that, cause we're sinners, God doesn't want us to prove anything, but He wants us to BELIEVE. Not only believe that He's our Saviour, but also believe in His promise.
He wants to take care of us, He wants to take our worries away, He wants to fulfill our hearts with love and forgiveness. But first you've got to stop trying to prove things to yourself and to others, you've got to quit your pride and repent for your sins.
Lay down your own "kingdom" at the Lord's feet.
And remember, "For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” Luke 14:8-11
